Shipping Policy

Shipping Information:

All orders are subject to:

  • Availability of product 

  • Blackout dates for shipping due to in-store demand and shipping capacity 

  • The Cookie Fix shipping team needing a vacation!

  • Shipping for fresh baked cookies is unavailable during warm months from ~ April to ~October to prevent melting of cookies and chocolate.

Frozen Dough to Go and Cookie Tins: 

We ship cookies Monday-Wednesday. Orders must be received by 1pm CST to be shipped the following Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. For clarification, an order placed after 1 pm on Tuesday and until 1 pm on Sunday will be shipped the following Monday.

  • To ensure freshness and quality of baked cookies and to ensure temperature of frozen dough, the shipping option chosen must get it to your destination in 2 days or less. Please choose your UPS method accordingly. If GROUND is chosen, and it will not reach its destination in 2 days, we will contact you, cancel your order, and  you may resubmit if desired.

  • Only shipping options that provide same week delivery will be available to avoid cookies or dough sitting at UPS over the weekend.

  • We cannot be responsible for staleness/spoilage due to courier shipping delays, or if the recipient is not at the delivery location to receive the shipment.

  • We are unable to alter orders on our end once submitted, but please contact us if you have entered any incorrect information. We are happy to cancel your order and you may resubmit if desired.

  • We are not responsible for information entered incorrectly such as the billing and shipping address. Please double check your order entry.

  • All orders are shipped via UPS.

  • We do not ship to PO boxes.

  • We do not ship internationally.

Placing your order -  When will my order ship?

In the busy baking seasons: We make every effort to package and ship orders as quickly as possible. During holiday seasons such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines Day, and Easter, we do our best to ship on the exact day (Monday- Wednesday) that you prefer and be assured that we do hire seasonal help during these times to make sure orders are being sent out in a timely manner. During the holiday time, however, there may be an occasion to move your shipment day and we will communicate with you if that is the case. 

Order in advance: To ensure that you receive your order by the time you need it, you can place orders up to 25 days in advance. Simply let us know when you need it by leaving a delivery date in the comments area of your order. Please note, we cannot guarantee shipping or arrival dates. We strongly recommend that you schedule your order to arrive at least one business day before your desired date to allow for any unforeseen delays. 

 

How will I know when my order is shipped?

We will send a confirmation with tracking information to the email address you provided with your order once the order has been processed for shipment, generally the same day as shipment. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk mail folder and add shipping@cookiefix.com to your safe senders list.

 

How do I place orders for multiple addresses? 

At this time, our site is only able to process orders with one shipping address at a time. For more than 10 addresses, email us at shipping@cookiefix.com and we are happy to assist you.

 

How can my Cookie Fix be its very best? 

Fresh Baked Cookie Care (available seasonally)

  • Cookies are baked fresh for shipping orders.

  • We all know that fresh is always better, so dig in! We recommend you enjoy and share your cookies as soon as possible. 

  • Cookie Fix is not liable for a decrease in quality after 2 days as our cookies do not contain preservatives.

  • Baked cookies may be stored in an airtight container for a few days, but of course, fresher is better. 

  • For optimum freshness and flavor we recommend freezing any cookies that will not be eaten immediately in an airtight container.

  • “Refresh” cookies by wrapping loosely in a very slightly damp paper towel and warming in the microwave for 10 seconds. 

  • Thaw frozen cookies before refreshing in the microwave or increase time in the microwave a few seconds. ENJOY!

Frozen Dough to Go Care:

  • After you receive the shipping confirmation and tracking information, plan for the arrival of your perishable frozen dough to ensure product safety and quality.

  • If the frozen dough is a gift, tell the recipient of the expected delivery date, or alert the recipient that "the gift is in the mail" so someone can be there to receive it. 

  • Do not  have perishable items delivered to an office unless you know it will arrive on a work day and there is refrigerator space available for keeping it cold.

    When your Frozen Dough to Go arrives:

  • When you receive a food item marked "Keep Frozen/Refrigerated," open it immediately and check its temperature. The dough should arrive frozen or partially frozen with ice crystals still visible or at least refrigerator cold—below 40 °F as measured with a food thermometer. If cookie dough arrives warm, above 40 °F as measured with a food thermometer, please notify Cookie Fix . Do not consume the food. Do not taste suspect food.

  • If any dry ice remains in cooler, DO NOT touch with bare hands.

  • Use a glove or kitchen towel to remove dry ice. 

  • Place packs of Cookie Fix Dough in freezer. Even if dough has softened, place in freezer to re-harden.

  • Cookie Fix dough contains raw eggs and flour, therefore, do not eat frozen dough.

  • Baking instructions and ingredients are on the back of each frozen dough pack.


I made a mistake in my order, can you help? 

If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can make adjustments to the contents and shipping details. Simply reply to your order confirmation and give us the details, email us at shipping@cookiefix.com.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the very perishable nature of our cookies, we are not able to accept returns. If there is  an issue with your order, please email shipping@cookeifix and let us know. We are here to help!


Troubleshooting:

We want your COOKIE FIX shipping experience to be perfect, so let us know asap if something does not meet your expectations. We will do our best to make it right, with the following guidelines in place regarding issues that are outside of our control.

  • We cannot be responsible for staleness/spoilage due to courier shipping delays.

  • We cannot be responsible if the recipient is not at the delivery location to receive the shipment.

  • We are unable to alter orders on our end once submitted, but please contact us ASAP if you have entered any incorrect information. We are happy to cancel your order and you may resubmit if desired. Once your order has shipped, we are unable to make changes.

  • Cookie Fix cannot be held responsible if the package is lost, stolen or damaged.

  • UPS Alerts state that "weather, natural disasters and other uncontrollable events can interrupt UPS transportation flow and your supply chain anytime, anywhere and with little warning."
